Note: A few antivirus programs keep detecting a couple of the included files as viruses. This is false positive. These vendors were informed numerous times and the serious companies such as DrWeb and Kaspersky, update their signatures to remove the false detection within a few hours after being informed. Others, such as McAfee, despite all the efforts and contacts, don’t do anything to update their signatures. For a few unknown ones, which use third party signatures, there is no way to contact them or they simply don’t respond. This program will never knowingly distribute any kind of malware.

  1. I can confirm that I got this working on a 128GB Kingston DataTraveler SE9G2 3.0 flash drive.
    My drive includes;
    – Win10 2004 (UEFI + Legacy)
    – MemTest86+ (4.20 + 5.01)
    – Several Linux ISO’s (SliTaz 5, Ubuntu 20.04, Manjaro 20.2, Debian 10.9 32Bit)
    – FreeDOS 13
    – HDClone 5,1
    – SeaTools4DOS (GUI + CLI)
    – Hiren’s BootCD PE (unofficial)
    – Hiren’s BootCD 15.2 (official)

Besides the installers, I’ve made an underscored folder in the root directory for extra files, and it contains about 20GB worth of additional programs, drivers, pictures, sound samples, and much more I usually need “out of office” profesionally or on the fly personally.

This tool, almost, literally makes any USB stick into a truly powerful all-in-one USB Utility & Rescue Bootable!
The absolutely ONLY two things that hinders this is the lack of UEFI support for linux ISO’s – this is due to the nature of GRUB, just like the Dev has stated, nothing much to do about that.
I can survive 1 extra small USB stick for a single UEFI+Legacy bootable Manjaro (for this I use Rufus though) besides my otherwise “Omni USB” 🙂

    Absolute Legend of a developer.
    Big PP.

  2. Hi
I have been using this program since 2014. I’ve never had any problems before. I’m downloading windows10x64 with Windows’ own program (MediaCreationTool21H1). I am creating a flash disk with the winsetupfromusb program. No problem so far. I insert the flash disk into a pc for installation. See the picture in the link below.

I’m using X64 but it shows X86. I say enter from here, 20 seconds later I get the error in the picture below.

I can’t install. But I don’t get an error with the rufus program, so the ISO is solid. What could be the reason for this?

    • Here you go, was easy, wasn’t it? 🙂

There are several errors in the log, most likely related to using outdated wimlib version, which comes bundled with the program.
I would assume you have used older WinSetupFromUSB versions, which you have not completely overwritten with the new versions, especially the wimlib directory.

Now please download a fresh copy of the program, extract it in NEW! location, and do that USB disk again. Then report success/failure with new log files if required.

Please follow the above to the letter, and do not skip a step or introduce something new.

  3. Yes, it’s ok. No problem. The program was 1.9, but the files may belong to 1.8, I remembered when you wrote it. Thank you so much.
