Note: A few antivirus programs keep detecting a couple of the included files as viruses. This is false positive. These vendors were informed numerous times and the serious companies such as DrWeb and Kaspersky, update their signatures to remove the false detection within a few hours after being informed. Others, such as McAfee, despite all the efforts and contacts, don’t do anything to update their signatures. For a few unknown ones, which use third party signatures, there is no way to contact them or they simply don’t respond. This program will never knowingly distribute any kind of malware.

  1. I love this.
    What’s the best method to format the flash so that it can boot in all system UEFI etc? Because some recent model laptops did not boot.

    • It’s more trial and error since there is no common standard, which manufactures follow on how USB stick has to be formatted and made bootable.

  2. I used this tool to format the flash with two ISO of win10 and ubuntu, but my laptop can boot windows10 only. Could you give me some suggestion? Thank you!

    P.S. My laptop is Alienware 15 R1.

  3. Dear;
    I purchase Samsung T5 2T SSD disk and unfortunately i’m socked due WinSetupFromUSB doesn’t support to format or install any operating system on it , please help me is there any solution.

    • Do you mean that disk is not listed? Simply click on advanced options and select to display disks on all interfaces. Be careful which disk you select!

      • Thanks , now I can see the drive in the list , how I can install boot loader without format and keep the old data as its without changes or re-formatting.

        appreciate your support.

        • Just do not select the auto-format option…
          If the drive is partitioned with MBR and has active primary partition, boot code will be placed there. If grub4dos install fails, then you have to backup all files and format it properly.

    • MBR has 2 TB limit. Another limitation might be imposed by the computer itself, which you need to figure out. Make sure all boot files are placed in the first 128 GB.

  4. I recently migrated from an Asus M5A97 motherboard to a MSI-B450-Tomahawk. When I installed Windows on the new system, I had no problem reading the WinSetupToUSB drive, and installing from it (although I did have to disable UEFI in the BIOS for the Windows installation to succeed). Today, I wanted to do a system restore, and I can’t get to my emergency restore program on the USB! With one USB drive (formatted as FAT32 with FBINST), it only displays the iso’s in the WINSETUP folder, ignoring those in the ISO folder, and completely ignoring the initial menu. With the other USB drive (also formatted as FAT32 with FBINST, but containing different iso’s), the BIOS doesn’t even recognize the drive, and won’t boot from it. I am at a complete loss! Any suggestions?

    • Where do you see all this, what is ignoring the ISOs in ISO folder? Boot manager/grub4dos/bootmgr/windows explorer…? Have you checked the file system on another computer with chkdisk for example?

      • Please Ignore the “July 30, 2019 at 01:28” comment. The problem was the BIOS got reset, and defaulted to UEFI. Thus only the windoze iso’s were recognized on the first disk, and the second disk didn’t have any to recognize.
