Note: A few antivirus programs keep detecting a couple of the included files as viruses. This is false positive. These vendors were informed numerous times and the serious companies such as DrWeb and Kaspersky, update their signatures to remove the false detection within a few hours after being informed. Others, such as McAfee, despite all the efforts and contacts, don’t do anything to update their signatures. For a few unknown ones, which use third party signatures, there is no way to contact them or they simply don’t respond. This program will never knowingly distribute any kind of malware.

  1. Guys, I have another problem. When I’m on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, program don’t recognize my installation SSD. Disc is ok and I can see in disc management and also in explorer. But WinSetupFromUSB don’t see it. It sees another attached external drives, but not the installation SSD. This doesn’t happen on Win7 though, I can work with my disc there without any problems. Any idea?

        • Just please be VERY careful when selecting disks as all disks will be displayed, including the internal ones.

          • Hi Admin and everybody.
I have a problem with my USB Ports, it(the four ports) doesn’t work with power-required devices — such as external speakers, wired and Bluetooth mouse, memorycard pendrive and so on. However, when I connect a data cable to transfer files(merely working for the two ports at the back), it detects and works for about two-five minutes and disconnects, and sometimes doesn’t work at all, I’ve tried the common remedies I came accross online(to uninstall the drivers and reboot, to uncheck the power saving option for USB when running on batteries and so on), please help!

    • Setup XP from ISO file is a bit less reliable compared to the method I am using and does not require external drivers. It also supports equally well, without any modifications 2000 and 2003.

  2. вирус TrojanGen2 мне 300 гиг снёс на диске важной информации.а разрабы черти ещё утверждают,что ложная.

  3. I can’t understand how are you can’t add support to dual ISO (x32 and x64 in a single ISO) ?
I use an old version with this ISO and it works perfectly until this version extract files into my flash but I prefer to use iso
the old version which I use is : WinSetupFromUSB 1.0 beta8
please review my comment because I’m sure that it will lead you to solution steps.

    Many thanks !

    • Old versions dump source as it is, no modifications. Downside – no multiboot of same source, only single source of this type is supported.
New versions modify source to support multiboot. Limitation – typical source is expected.
Windows 10 x32&64 stock source is not typical. That’s the first time Microsoft use such structure embedding multiple sources in a single ISO.
Developer needs to go through half of the code and amend and test it. That’s a lot of time he does not have, this if free program developed in free time as hobby for pleasure and to be helpful. Who needs 32 bit version nowadays anyway=low priority issue…

      Hope you now understand.

  4. “Who needs 32 bit version nowadays anyway”

Anyone who still uses hundreds of application programs that took many years and many thousands of hours to develop, and which still work just fine under a 32-bit OS. Of course, we COULD run them in a virtual-machine, but then “Who needs the 64-bit version?”

    • Possibly. For me not likely, hence the low priority of this issue. Besides, single 32 bit ISO works just fine for those who need it.
