Here you can download WinSetupFromUSB and updates of the tools included.

Please do not hotlink files, use this page if you want to post a link to the program. If you need to link to a specific version, you could use version number like this:

Note: A few antivirus programs keep detecting a couple of the included files as viruses. This is false positive. These vendors were informed numerous times and the serious companies such as DrWeb and Kaspersky, update their signatures to remove the false detection within a few hours after being informed. Others, such as McAfee, despite all the efforts and contacts, don’t do anything to update their signatures. For a few unknown ones, which use third party signatures, there is no way to contact them or they simply don’t respond. This program will never knowingly distribute any kind of malware.

  1. When I boot from USB, there is 2 options.
    Windows Setup
    Boot first internal disk

The ‘Windows setup’ is a folder. If we want to install windows 7,
first we need to enter this folder and then we need to select
    Windows 7 setup.

How can set the Windows 7 setup directly (like Boot first internal
disk) without going Windows Folder? If that change in ‘menu.lst’ please tell the script

  2. Used to make a Windows 10 boot disk, both x86 and x64. Tried 2 ways, one with both in same install.wim and formatted USB as FAT32 and the ISO was made into 2 files. Also tried as individual ISOs, one for x86 and one for x64 only, so it wouldn’t break up the ISO. In either case when I boot UEFI, it starts loading then dies with a bad file. Can boot an install non UEFI, but UEFI just does not work.

  3. I went back and reread your note on Windows 10. I used the Microsoft Media Creation Tool and download separate x86 & x64 ISOs. Rebuilt the USB and it worked fine in UEFI mode.

  6. It’s getting ridiculous, as well as annoying, when 90% of recent comments have been misspelled “thanks” or cryptic mnemonics. Can we please limit comments to problem reports and/or helpful suggestions? Thank you.

  8. Donno whats going on on this page but, I’ve had to try 4 different browser (FIrefox, Chrome, Safari on OSX and WIndows) before I could download the program.. and I was only able to download it after viewing the HTML source and get the link to the file from there…

    • There is a hotlink protection plugin which will kick in if you have browser plugin or firewall/antivirus stripping out referrer parts of the http requests.

    • Feel free to contact me offline if you can make it better and keep the hotlinking protection. In the beginning site was severely abused by hotlinking sites and apparently the kind requests not to do so did not work at all. Being freeware and hobby project in the spare time, hosting is funded only by the little revenue coming from the ads, so unless you want to sponsor better hosting it will be like this.
So, please, before jumping into wild conclusions, ask first politely, what the case indeed is.
