Is it possible to put all the files and folders (like WINSETUP,efi, boot, bootmgr, gldr …) from root of USB drive to one subdirectory?
Not easily, not at all.
It keeps freezing on me with ‘Not responding message’ – it’s arbitrary and I can’t duplicate it all the time. I’m on windows 10 preview – any suggestions ?
Is this when copying large file, or when? If it is when copying, did you give it enough time to finish whatever it’s doing without touching the GUI?
WinSetupFromUSB- program 1-5 by the problem that the computer Aadam cyst Tour 7900h and 8000 hp please solve this problem
What exactly is the problem?
Hello!
I use WinSetupFromUSB 1.5 and I have 2 hard drive(one hdd, second sdd).
Hdd is connect to sata 3 master.
Sdd is connect to sata 4 master.
When SATA is in IDE mode everything is ok – installer windows 2003 R2 SP2 recognize both internal drive and I can install win2003 on first partition hdd( before that I have to disconnect one drive so thanks a lot 😉 ).
When SATA is in AHCI mode I choose:
1 auto-detect and use F6 SATA/RAID/ISCI driver
2 NT5_x86-32-bit ( I have AMD motherboard )
3 I press F6 and choose ACHI SATA
after that is show up only one internal disk(why?) ( hdd) and USB drive. I installed on first partition of hdd without any problems.
After installation win2003 recognize only hdd( only one internal drive). I tried device and disk manager( find, rescan, add new hardware) but second internal drive didn’t show up.
I switched SATA in IDE mode and then show up.
I tried also second option : 2 auto-detect and use F6 SATA/RAID/ISCI driver + firadisk but effect it was the same.
What i have to do, so that installer recognize both internal disks in AHCI mode?
This is 32 bit version, right?
Why don’t you try to integrate the SATA drivers in the source, FAQ #3?
Other than that I have no other ideas, this is weird behaviour, never seen it, it’s either all disks or none visible, not the half 🙂
Yes it is 32 bit version.
I didn’t integrate because I wanted try winsetupfromusb ;-).
I accomplished and so successful, do not have to longer disconnect one drive to install Win2003 in IDE mode.
I went after success and tried AHCI. But this time, success very half-hearted 😉
Maybe is fault motherboard?
Will good if somebody check that kind situation with 2 internal hard drive.
I’ve tested long ago with more than 2 drives, but what you experience has more to do with windows or the motherboard.
Yes of course!
Linux (solydK 64bit) recognize all drive in AHCI.
So Win2003 is guilty. The problem applies only to AHCI.
I am surprised that Windows does not detect the disk in disk managment, but the problem starts in a text installer(doesn’t regonize all drives)
Once windows is installed, ypu might try newer/older sata driver and check if the driver is to blame.
I changed the driver with the older and now sees all disks.
Guilty is AMD.
Thank You
What Brand and type motherboard ?? At Motherboard your have IDE (socket) for IDE CDROM/DVD ?? if you have, include in your motherboard you must select SATA IDE mode and for windows 2003 you must select SATA IDE mode.
Thx
I am using 2.2 beta. The “Cancel” button is grayed out during use and cannot be used. I have to use task manager to kill the app.
Also, not your problem but Bitdefender has to be disabled or else it quarantines many files while building the destination.
2.2 beta? There is no such version…
What exactly are you using?
I’ve reported the false positives to all AV companies, many already responded and updated the signatures.
SORRY!. My mistake. I am using a similarly named product.

how to add driver usb3 ?
In what source?
How I can delet one of iso burned/ Comment pourrais-je supprimer l’un des ISO brülés sur le USB?
What ISO?
Hi
I use the program a lot, i was wondering if there is an easy way to replace or remove an iso, I use a 32gb USB-Stick with all latest versions of Windows. If there is a newer version (with updates) of the iso, i have to make the stick all over again which consumes al lot of time.
I already tried to copy the iso and wim files but that doesn’t work
Hope to hear
grtz
Herman
Replacing the ISO only should work as long as boot.wim files are identical.
You could remove such source by deleting its folder and editing /boot/bcd and /efi/microsoft/boot/bcd with the included bootice or the free VisualBCD removing the boot menus.
I have a linux – Debian based Sparkylinux and my dvd drive is under repair. How can I burn Windows XP to USB Pen Drive using Linux = Sparkylinux? Please help. If your program supports Linux as Host then it will be great. I think this software is all about Host being windows and destination USB install to be Windows+Linux+Other useful ISOs. Please help.
