Hi everione. I’m trying to install Windows XP SP III on ACER ASPIRE ONE. Everything went fine, but when I want to continue with the 2nd. part I can’t. The system throw me to the 1st screen (where the system indicates the O.S).
Can you help me please. The software is excellent and it helps me a lot.
Thanks!
Can you describe better this:
” The system throw me to the 1st screen (where the system indicates the O.S).”
What exactly this screen is?
What exactly happens when you select whats on it?
Have you deleted all partitions and create new ones during setup if possible? Old partitioning can often lead to such results.
Hi Itaushanov. Finally I could instal Windows XP SP3 on the ACER ASPIRE ONE.
What I mean when I wrote that is that I couldn’t choose the option of “2nd. part of windows” for installing. When I did that the system redirect me to “0. windows XP SP3” (the option in which I choose the O.S),
I had deleted all partitions before beggining the instalation.
I resolved the problem putting off the Flash Disk after the finish of 1st part instalation. And when the 1st. screen of Windows appear I conect it again.
I hope it can help someone.
Thanks!
Hi. How to free spaces from deleting some OS bootable (as windows, linux, etc) from WinSetupFromUSB’s utility? Thanks.
Which OS exactly? They are put in a different way.
How to add several ISO image?
Take a look at FAQ and Tutotials pages.
I’m trying to add windows server 2012 r2 but the program goes into a “note responding mode”
Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/sA8JuaSB
I’ve no idea what could be going wrong, as the log file shows no errors nor clues as to why it would freeze. Have you tried to run it again? I’ve seen cases when stock bcdedit hangs for no apparent reason, program waits for its output, but there is no such and gets stuck.
I see many other similar sources already added, were there any issues adding them?
No problem with other OS.
But i have noticed, it seems like there is problem adding a 4th windows installation. No matter what windows os i try, it’s always problem with the 4th. Is there any limitation in how many I can have on the stick?
Limit is only available space, I’ve been adding more than 20..
Please i have big problem when i used it to burn xp on it i been filed then i try to format it i got this mag the disk is write protected please help me http://prntscr.com/5ph4sx
If there is no hardware switch for write protection turned on, then the USB stick is faulty.
HI,
i would just like to say thanks.
This is the most simple and effective app i have found so far regarding creating multiboot usb.
Keep up the great work, and also think about some kind of donation system, i’m sure a lot of people would be eager to help.
Thank you for the warm words.
There is a button “donate” when you open the program.
Do you sell the source code WinSetupFromUSB version 32 64 ??? thank you!
I don’t have such plans for now.
Hi,
i often forget “Second part of Windows setup/Boot first internal disk” after the Text Setup Part.
I never had problems when i forgot it and in my case Windows XP Professional runs fine.
Is it really needed and what exactly does it do ?
Thank you for this great tool.
Greets.
Thomaz
It just boots the first internal disk, present for convenience in case one boots off USB again making the installation somewhat unattended.
No problem at all if you don’t use it.
dear admin. please make support for iso from winctrl. i’ve try this iso and it not work. https://kickass.so/microsoft-windows-8-1-with-update-x86-x64-aio-rus-eng-v1-0-24in1-ctrlsoft-t9721505.html
I am sorry, I don’t think I could easily add support such heavily modified sources.
If you need single source on the USB, you could try 1.0 beta8 for example, as previous versions simply extract the ISO to the USB unmodified. Would need to use FAT32 if EFI is needed.
thank for immediately answer my request, just for your information i think on future all in one(AIO) windows iso will be most popular.
keep improving and spirit.
thankyou verymuch
There are AIO ISOs and there are other AIO ISOs, each modified in a different way. If there are all made in a similar way I could figure something out, but it seems they are not, as far as I am aware.
Hi
Is there having any way so I can edit the menu of “Windows Boot Manager”. I tried number of time with different modified sources after that I got too much entry in the boot menu.
Any advice and help will be appreciated
Thanks in advance
Edit \boot\bcd for BIOS boot and \efi\microsoft\boot\bcd for EFI using the included BootIce or get the free VisualBCD.
