  2. Love your tool, if only I could get it to work! I just made a stick with Win7, Win8.1 and Win10 on it. I can boot fine to it, and I get the menu where I can select which setup I want to run. After that I get “Loading files…”, which completes on each OS setup, then it freezes at some point early in the next phase. At that point, in Win7 it says “Starting Windows” and freezes even as the color logo is taking shape. In Win8.1 I get the teal logo image, then it goes to black and stays there. In Win10 I have the teal logo with spinning white dots below, then it goes to black and eventually the activity on the stick stops. I used FAT32 – should I have used NTFS?

    • FAT/NTFS wouldn’t matter.
      Try USB 2.0 port.
      Try disconnecting any additional hardware.
      Try on another machine.
The issue you are having I doubt has anything to do with the program. Does the same source work with the MS tool?

  3. You will get the message “HAL.DLL corrupt or missing” with Windoze XP if the boot.ini file is corrupt.

Boot from Windoze XP installation CD, chose ‘recovery console’ (or press F10 when it asks for F6 at they very beginning).

    Enter: BOOTCFG /REBUILD

  4. i keep getting this error while booting windows 10 32 or 64 bit

    0XC000042
and it tells me that windows/system32/boot/winload.exe does not exist or somthing else

how can i solve this problem?

  5. Assuming that winload.exe DOES exist, windoze is unable to find it because it can’t access the boot device. Ergo, your BIOS does not support the boot device, or you need to revise a BIOS setting.

    • my flash drive got both windows 10 and 8.1
there is no problem with 8.1 only win 10 has this problem neigher if i put only win 10 on the flash drive
i tested it on 4 pc’s and 2 laptops all got the same problem

      • As I mentioned earlier, from the FAQ “http://www.winsetupfromusb.com/supported-sources/”:
Windows 10 – single ISOs created by Microsoft Media Creation Tool or downloaded from Microsoft should work. Dual ISOs made by the same tool (x32 and x64 in a single ISO) are NOT supported yet due to the changed structure. Such source can still be added using the previous versions which dump entire contents as they are, 1.0 beta8 for example. Limitations- such source needs to be added first, and any other sources of the same type, but not the same x32+x64, has to be added using 1.6 beta 2 or later.

  6. ماذا يعني ‘ناير’؟
Perhaps your Windoze 10 ISO is defective?
You said above, “i keep getting this error while booting windows 10 32 or 64 bit”. Are you booting windoze or the windoze installation iso? If the former, you can’t run Windoze from a USB stick. It’s not Linux. If the latter case, I seem to recall that WINSETUPFROMUSB does not work with combination (32-bit and 64-bit) ISOs. Download a 32-bit OR 64-bit ISO and add it to your USB stick. If you need both, add separate ISOs.

  7. I am having 8 GB USB drive and win7 and 8 was copied successfully.
When I am trying to copy win 10 it gives error file too large to be placed in FAT32, It will be split in parts and when I press OK nothing happens and nothing is copied

    • Need to see the log files to be able to help, details in the FAQ.
And the first message is not an error, FAT32 does not support files larger than 4 GB and program INFORMS you that it will be split in part as a workaround.

  8. You must make light version. : windows 10, path to iso, run; windows 7, path to iso, run. People long time ago forgot DOS, MBR…
