    • Boot.ini is not needed and used in any of the 1.0 versions.
      Which version are you using and why would you need those entries in boot.ini at all?

    • There is advanced option letting you to set custom boot menu and folder name per source. For already transferred sources you’d need to edit \boot\bcd and efi\microsoft\boot\bcd stores. You could use the included BootIce, or the free VisualBCD if not familiar with bcdedit.

    Just want to report about problem with version 1.4.
    When i execute file “WinSetupFromUSB-1-4.exe” error occur:
    “Can not open file \..\WinSetupFromUSB-1-4.exe” as archive.
    With ver. 1.3 all is fine.

  3. I have a backup image using shadow protect. .spf is the extension it uses. I backed up my windows 7 and like to know if I can restore the .spf image[it’s about 40gb] to a usb drive.

  4. This program is very great and usefull. I have a question, how to remove windows or linux from usb drive, i accidently added linux twice. Is there any file, where i can manualy delete entry, that it won’t show on the menu (sory for bad english – it won’t be better 🙂 )

    • Edit \boot\bcd for BIOS boot and \efi\microsoft\boot\bcd for EFI using the included BootIce or get the free VisualBCD.

  6. Hi. When uploading Win 8.1 on NTFS formatted USB FD, winSetupFromUSB NOT copying efi folder. I’m trying to make some magic mentioned in your FAQ, to install >4Gb windows iso in uefi mode.
