  1. Windows 7 32bit save iso with MBR Mode , Windows 64bit with MBR-UEFI mode, and now Windows 8.1 Save iso with ESD. ESD is New system compress for small ISO.

    • I think you are confusing and mixing lots of things. Take a look here for some details.

Generally speaking, all Windows 32/64 bits sources are supported, unless they are heavily modified from original images. You could just try whatever you need to add, it’s matter of 5-10 minutes…

  2. Hi, all, thanks for this useful program. I have just one little question: How can i edit list of OS, that appears after i choose installs (it named Windows boot manager), listed in winsetup.lst? I think it’s a one of configfiles in /boot folder but which of them? and how can i edit it? I really dont like duplicate options in it =(

  3. I put Windows 8.1 x64, Acronis True Image, and Windows 7 SP1 x64. Windows 8.1 and Acronis boots up and works fine except for Windows 7 I get a error message that keeps repeating every few seconds saying “Waiting for USB disk to initalize please wait” then after a while it says “Please reinsert the USB disk. USB disk is not available. Please unplug it,wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in. If you are using USB 3.0 disk try using USB 2.0 port.” Well my PC doesn’t have USB 3.0 ad nothing wrong with my USB stick since all others work.

  4. Please help, i installed windows 7 from my usb using this program everything is great, but now, i need to make my usb normal again, so i can use it for saving other files. How to do it?

    • There is nothing special with the USB disk now, it’s just bootable. You can continue using it as a storage, or if you need more space just format it, from explorer, BootIce, RMPrepUSB etc.

  5. Hi. I installed Win 7 x64 in UEFI mode, all great. Now i looking to add Kali Linux 1.0.8 (that supports UEFI mode too). I adiing this, using “Linux ISO / Other Grub4dos compatible ISO” option. Once i get “Job done” message, i checked, that Kali linux option appears in “menu.lst” file. But, when i trying to boot from “UEFI: MyUsbStickName” – it boots windows 7 setup, without any prompt/menu to choose what system i want to install.
Is it possible to make muliboot, that contains x64 Windows and Linux, both in UEFI mode?
Thanks for great software and sorry if my English somehow dissapoints, it’s not my native language.

    • Hi Denis, currently when booting in UEFI mode only the UEFI aware Windows versions are supported.

You might add Kali Linux manually, and use grub2 or rEFInd as UEFI boot manager, or simply use EFI shell to load Windows bootmgr or grub2 efi loaders directly.
I can assist you to some extent, just let me know.

  6. @itaushanov
    Thank you for reply.

For now i installed Kali Linux with Win 7, but only Win 7 in UEFI. I just press F7 (Select boot device in my case), and select “My USB stick name” except for “UEFI: My USB stick name”. Then i launched Kali Linux installation and then allow it to replace Windows loader with GRUB loader.

Afterall, when i boot my system – it loads Win 7 without any menu. But i can always press F7 and select “My HDD name” except for “Windows boot manager”. Here it loads GRUB menu with Kali Linux.
