  1. I don’t see my earlier comment in the FAQ yet, but you can ignore it. Somehow the BIOS got reset, and it treated the USB as UEFI (which is why the one USB drive only showed the windoze ISO’s and the other (which only had Linux ISO’s) was considered unbootable.

  2. I have several 32GB “thumb drives” formatted with FBINST, and containing a number of Windows and Linux ISOs formatted with WinSetUpForUSB. They seem to work properly, allowing me to boot from the selected ISO. But whenever I insert them into a USB port, Windows 10 claims, “There’s a problem with this drive. Scan the drive now and fix it.” I’m hesitant to run chkdsk, because I fear Windoze will do some damage to a non-windoze format. Should I just ignore the message, as I have been?

    • This usually happens when disk was unplugged without using safely remove hardware icon or similar scenario, quite unlikely has anything to do with the way disk is formatted. Usually chkdisk would fix these with no further damage, but there is always a little risk. Up to you to decide whether you can afford that risk. Can always make full sector by sector backup and restore it should anything go wrong, if the information is that valuable or it would take a lot of time to rebuild the disk.

  3. tenho uma iso de windows 8.1 modificada pois e uma iso para todas as versoes mais ela nao instala da erro nt6 e fecha

  4. dear brothers, your work is amazing.if reach out engineers full of your work definitely need good tutorial video from your side. like to change Bootable USB Background Image and more and more? thanks and regards

  5. Im using 4partitions,
    .System Reserved
    .Operative System*
    .Multiboot**
    .Storage

    *live OS with BootDriverFlag edit
**multiboot with w10, server2019 and Acronis; EaseUs Partition in a near future

Acronis is only visible for booting via legacy. Problem is that it trows this common partition error when initializing; just because theres more than 1 partition.
Other ISOs work just fine. Is there any way to hack/fix this issue?

    Thanks a lot!

    • When using Linux/Other ISO option, 4th entry in the partition table must be unused/00, it’s used to map ISO file contents to it.

  6. WinSetupFromUSB is a Wonderful Tool。BUT I have a question during using: The USB DISK have a 8M unallocated space, I don’t like it. Can I delete 8M unallocated space and How to do?

    • That space is not unallocated, it’s used by the bootloader for compatibility with broken BIOS-es.
If it bothers you that much, feel free not to use the auto format option and use other tools to format the USB disk.

  7. In UEFI mode, it is possible to add other tools (like DLC Boot, etc.) in addition to windows ISOs?
There are tools that already support UEFI, are useful mode.
In the future, if you add this option in an update, that would be perfect.

Anyway I’ve been using your program for 2 years, and so far I haven’t found it best for my needs. Thanks!
