Note: A few antivirus programs keep detecting a couple of the included files as viruses. This is false positive. These vendors were informed numerous times and the serious companies such as DrWeb and Kaspersky, update their signatures to remove the false detection within a few hours after being informed. Others, such as McAfee, despite all the efforts and contacts, don’t do anything to update their signatures. For a few unknown ones, which use third party signatures, there is no way to contact them or they simply don’t respond. This program will never knowingly distribute any kind of malware.

  1. Ok, I have set up my Usb flash drive and now here’s another problem not actually concerning to your program but still maybe you could give a helpful assistance:
What would be a good way to protect such Usb drive from viruses when I insert it to someone’s computer?! There are some programs findable in google but I’m not sure because some of them needs the Usb drive formatted in NTFS and I formatted it in FAT32, some don’t work in other computers…so, do you know any good way to protect this Usb from viruses?! 🙂
Note that setting security options does not work for FAT32 drive.

    • Power that computer off, insert your USB disk, make sure you boot from USB, do what you need to do while booted USB disk, power off.
The most used tasks from such diaka are to backup user files and reinstall. Do both while booting only from the USB drive. There is an advanced option to include handy file manager and start it before Windows setup, I use it all the time to copy files.

  2. There is no way to prevent a USB flash drive from being infected by a Virus on someone else’s computer, unless there is a viable anti-Virus program installed on that computer (in which case it shouldn’t be infected or contagious). Even if you had some sort of program on the flash drive, it couldn’t protect anything, since it wouldn’t be running when you inserted the flash drive.

    • Well, for NTFS drive I restrict write/modify from security settings and when inserted in another computer, files can’t be written on it, but this method does not work on FAT32 format…
itaushanov suggestion seems reasonable – to not boot others system with my Usb inserted in it 🙂

Nor will it work with a NTFS drive. Viruses (virii) do NOT follow Windoze security protocols. They can (and do) write to whatever they wish — if allowed to run.

Yes, assuming the virus isn’t BIOS-resident.

          • “Thanks. If a virus is in Bios then flashing-restoring Bios to defaults should remove them, no?”
            1) Flashing should remove them —- unless the virus infects the flash program (so download it from a different computer, and use a non-writeable media (i.e. a cdrom drive, not a USB stick) to install it.
            2) Resetting the BIOS to defaults won’t remove them.

          • Well i have got infected from Bios virus & Believe me nothing helped…no Antivrus…no live cd for scanning…full HDD formatting with new MBR…just nothing…the only which will save you is to update new Bios from official site of ur motherboard manufacturer✔️🥺but don’t update if ur mobo in under warranty…because some manufacturer null ur warranty if ur Bios get corrupt during update…for exa.Gigabyte does it… it’s better to send ur mobo to official service center if under warranty…or take help of computer repair shop whom are expert in Bios updatasion process👍

    • Change boot order to start from USB and follow the usual steps of installing Windows. There are hundreds of youtube videos, just do a bit of search.
