Note: A few antivirus programs keep detecting a couple of the included files as viruses. This is false positive. These vendors were informed numerous times and the serious companies such as DrWeb and Kaspersky, update their signatures to remove the false detection within a few hours after being informed. Others, such as McAfee, despite all the efforts and contacts, don’t do anything to update their signatures. For a few unknown ones, which use third party signatures, there is no way to contact them or they simply don’t respond. This program will never knowingly distribute any kind of malware.

  1. The feature to install from usb disk to usb disk works! But the disk where it willbe installed must be formatted as ntfs and with rmprepusb install bootloader xp(ntldr). After this you need another computer to complete the job. Install(Again with rmprepusb) the bootloader grub4dos to the disk with the setup xp. Move the files that are in the setup disk (ntdetect.com, boot.ini, ntldr, bootfont.bin, and others that wasn’t in such disk to the usb disk where the first part of windows xp installation was completed and continue installing it from the usb.

NOTE:The setup didn’t copy me the file pagefile.sys so if you have another copy it or the installation will be veeeeery sloooow

    • It pretty much depends from what type usb disk (hard disk, stick) to what type usb disk. Setup always prefers fixed type (hard) disks to place boot files and on, initialize mbr etc. Idially, you want to be using the same type. And fat32/ntfs shouldn’t matter.

  2. You know, I always have problems when creating a Windows XP and ended up performing it with Yumi, you can not add a type YUMI XP installer for your program ???

    • Hah, cute 🙂 Does it really looks as simple as this? Move a few buttons and get it done, like on a smartphone ?
Why not just mention what issues you have with XP? Lots of time has been spent on this in the past and haven’t seen any reliable reports for issues with it for years… Usually if anything, it’s related to heavily customised sources or unsupported hardware. Some ways of installing XP from USB might get away from customised sources, other may not.
Besides, do you really think someone would spend any time on fixing XP related stuff in mid 2016 ? 🙂

  3. where I live if there are still computers dinosaurs . then I explain the problem that I think it’s really simple. regards
