Creating USB bootable from win setup from usb is not recognizing in new systems having uefi mode. I have tried it in my Asus TUF Gaming FX505DY_FX505DY but USB will not be recognize as bootable. Then I try rufus and using GPT (UEFI non CSM) it works. When using MBR it is not recognizing by the boot mode of laptop. Kindly look in to this matter.
Are you saying that this laptop requires GPT to boot in UEFI mode?
Did you use FAT32?
No I have always use NTFS.
You need to use FAT32 for UEFI boot.
There must have been a warning message from the program too, that if you need UEFI boot FAT32 should be used.
Ok I will try then I tell you the results. After using fat 32.
I have used it and it doesn’t worked. As it is showing USB drive at Bootable option on start up, but not booting from the USB.
Are there other options in BIOS/UEFI which might be interfering?
Did you reformat the USB disk and start from scratch?
Yes, I have done it all from the start and the results are not in favour.
I just want you to take a look at this type of boot options if the bootable pen drive is working or not. Because my experience previously with win set up is good this time it does’t favor the luck for me as it has other option which are useful. So kindly look in to this matter.

That’s just a warning/reminder for you to make sure the correct disk is selected.
I am having iso of RHEL5.3, RHEL6.5 and linuxmint-20-cinnamon-64bit installation DVD. These three iso are added to the USB using WinSetupFromUSB (Linux ISO/Other Grub4dos compatible ISO). Successfully added and the USD is tested and seen that PC is booted from USB. The installation of RHEL5.3 or RHEL6.5 will proceed upto installation image selection. It is expecting the extracted installation image but unfortunately the USB is having the iso of the installation DVD in the folder ISO. So the installation cannot proceed. There is no issue with the linuxmint-20-cinnamon-64bit. How to solve this issue.
Is that on USB stick or disk? If stick is os seen as removable or fixed disk?
Older Debian based distros behaved differently on fixed disk.
Try RHEL5 or 6 only on another USB stick, which must be removable if the current one is fixed.
It is on USB Stick and the OS detects as a removable stick. I only need to create a USB stick from which I can install RHEL5 and RHEL6. After creating the USB, if it is tested in a PC, booting from the stick shows the menu for installation of RHEL5 and RHEL6. Both works and stops at a point where it cannot find the installation media. Provision is there to select the installation source files and if the usb is pointed, then also it is unable to located the instillation files). Is it because the installation files are still inside the iso that is in the ISO folder and the installer (anaconda) have no idea to get the installation files from iso?
ISOs are mapped to a fake partition nearly all modern Linux distros are happy with, and find their source files on that fake partition without further action.
That partition survives the entire boot process.
RHEL 5 and 6 are quite old, based on old setup scripts which search specific locations only I would imagine.
Guess you can troubleshoot a bit by looking at the logs where it searches for setup files. Can also try dropping to shell and manually mount the ISO.

It is seen that the iso is mounted to a fake partition /dev/sdb4. The files are readable but the installer fails to see it. If the installer is pointed to this location for media files, it is not accepting as it is expecting an image. So the location /dev/sdb1/ISO/rhel5.iso was pointed (only if formatted as FAT32), and the installer exited abnormally. I think for old Linux Distros, we need to find some workaround.

Seems you run out of disk space on R: drive where WinSetupFromUSB directory is and boot.wim could not be extracted from the source ISO file.
Likely the issue is not related to the version used, but to the insufficient disk space.
BTW, why R:? Is this ramdisk or something?
8 GB memory card.
On version 1.8, everything worked out and 2 GB of free space remained.
Why don’t you put program folder in root of C or D drive and try again?

Seems we are lost in translation, error is still the same, no disk space in R: to extract boot.wim
As mentioned previously- please move/copy WinSetupFromUSB folder from R: to C: or D: and start the program from the new location in C or D.

Doubt Windows folder is necessary, just don’t use R drive since there is either no disk space or the SD card is going faulty.
