    • There is no such limit, apart from the one on some very old and specific machines, where limit could be 1GB, 4 GB, 8 GB or they just behave in a different way according to the disk size, but again, this was many years ago.

  1. thanks for your reply. i put both win 7 and Hiren bootcd onto the drive. win 7 installer works correctly, but when i select Hiren, i can enter Mini Windows XP, but there is no HBCD menu. do you know what i should do ?

  2. Hello sir.. i had added a grub for dos an acronics boot iso but donw want that now how do i delete the acronics from my boot list without effecting the other boot iso’s

    • Delete Acronis ISO file from /ISO folder on the USB disk.
Edit menu.lst in root and remove the lines from
      title Acronis.iso
      ...
      ...
      ...

to the next line starting with title

  3. Hola una pregunta como se hace para agregar al USB ademas de las isos de windows, un windows 7 live cd? gracias.-

  4. I believe that you answered this for me once before, but I lost my notes. How can I remove an ISO that I’ve added to the USB? I have one that I no longer need and don’t want to have to totally rebuild the USB. Thanks.

    • Delete the corresponding ISO file in WINSETUP directory and edit \boot\bcd for BIOS boot and \efi\microsoft\boot\bcd for EFI using the included BootIce or get the free VisualBCD.

    • -WinSetupFromUSB Directory-\files\tools\RMPrepUSB\WinContig

You’d need to make sure there is enough contiguous free space on the disk or defragmenting would fail.

    • Umm… you are already on the FAQ page, why don’t you just read it?!
Besides, there are also tutorials with screenshots how to add them…

  5. Hi

I would like to create a bootable USB stick with your utility and insert a customized edition of Windows 8.1 Update which has its install.wim less than 4096 MB but its ISO is greater than this value.

So, what would be the proper procedure to create this USB stick so that I can boot it with the computers equipped with the BIOS or UEFI?

    Thanks

    Bye

    • I’d try using 1.0 beta 8 version, which copies source as is, you’d need to extract the ISO somewhere first, or mount it in a virtual DVD.
Mind you, only one source of this type can be added this way, for the next sources this type you need to use version 1.4.
