  1. I have problem when adding windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit to my disk. The software (WinSetupfromUSB) copies files very fast and says job done. Approaximately 2 mins. and the windows doesntt boot. I feel like it doest copy everything. Please help.

NB: My Win 8.1 Pro image is working well!!

  2. I’m facing Problem booting Linux mint from Second internal HDD MBR
WARNING: PARTITION TABLE 4 IN BIOS DEVICE 128 IS ALREADY IN USE!

  3. I followed the tutorial instructions, and everything seemed to be fine until I tried to use the USB. It loads files and attempts setup, but instead, it brings up the cmd prompt and says:

“A winpeshl.ini file is present, but no commands were successfully launched. This could be caused by incorrect formatting or an invalid executable name. Please consult the documentation for more information.”

I’ve tried this with different ISOs and different versions of Windows, and I have tried using WinSetup version 1.6 and 1.7. The result is the same.

I can post log files on request.

    Thank you.

  4. Hello,

During preparing my multiboot USB, I followed the procedure then after adding XP, 7, as my initial OS. I tried to add Win 8, then Win 10. On boot up i noticed all the options available booted as Win 10 which was the Last OS i added.

I think the last OS did a re-write on the previous OS, Please how can i go about this in order to have the proper options represent the OS. Thank you.

    • There is no specific order needed and no next source will overwrite the previous one unless auto-format option was used. Have you used it by any chance? Log files would be also be handy, details in the FAQ above.

  5. Thanks here is the link to the log file. https://www.datafilehost.com/d/ApAdCF7Kju

I just realized something from the particular software version i made use of. I tried using version 1.7 but it showed some errors does contain boot source……….. So i used 1.0 beta 8 and thought i was going to be successful because it didn’t ask for the .iso but just requested for the location of the boot folder and such.

    So what i think is, 1.0 beta 8 provides a way around that error with its request. However, i took sometime to go through many FAQ’s and noticed the following;

    1) The error can be solved with using a single OS.

    2) Version 1.0 beta8 dumps the sources, maybe that’s why i have the Last OS i used as the default for all other OS options.

Since i may have a clue on what this issue i’m facing may be, I need your guidance with how i can use 1.0 beta 8 to have various OS on my USB stick because i have about 3 Single windows 7 .iso 2 X86 and 1 X64. and still gives me the error during selection. The iso’s are not corrupt in anyway i’m sure. or a way to use software versions to make this happen. I’m not all program savvy but i believe moving some folders and editing something somewhere can make this work.

    I’D BE GRATEFUL, THANKS

  6. WinSetupFromUSB 1.7.exe take very long time to decompress itself. This is happening too if i decompress it manually with winrar.
    System windows 10 (64bits)

  7. I can’t move up and down to select the OS i want to install from GRUB.
I found the problem is related the USB 3.0 port.
It can be work well if I plug-in the keyboard to USB 2.0 port. But the board I used just only 2 USB 3.0 port.
How can I do for this?
    Thanks.

    • Check if there are any related options in BIOS. Nothing can be done on grub4dos side.
      Or maybe try different keyboard?

      • I has been solve this USB3.0 keyboard problem when I change another board to test it can be used very well. So is USB 3.0 port has problem on my board. Sorry for that and thanks itaushanov for reply. Thanks.
