  1. using the windows 10 boot works perfectly perfectly
if I use Vista at each installation startup I leave this window for 5 seconds before installation

    how can I avoid this
I tried everything … to modify the Winpeshl.ini file but nothing …
    thank you

  2. I have booted window from ext-hdd, Ext-hdd stops working at 1st step when we have to choose Language & currency format

it was working before using windows server, now i’m trying to make a bootable ext-hdd from both windows but it is not working….I also 1st time formatted my device with ALLOCATION UNIT SIZE = 8192 bytes

    • Maybe drive goes to sleep to save power or something? Try reconnecting it.
Doubt format options matter at all.

  3. it sucks..This doesn’t seem to be (a) valid source! Either or all of \sources\boot.wim, \bootmgr \boot\, \boot\BCD are missing, or source is not supported.

    • Well, most likely the source sucks, if I have to use this language…

Try to open it with 7-zip, does it open? If not- fix the ISO, most likely it is not in UDF format as it should be. If it opens- are these files listed? If not- use proper source. If yes to bith questions, which is highly unlikely- blame the program 😉

  4. I was trying your software in 2014, Version 1.4 – it did not work at all. Now I’m trying it again with version 1.8 – it does not work at all… My machines _could_ boot from USB, just not with sticks created with your software… DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER – that’s all I get…

    • Program provides N ways of formatting USB stick, either by the auto-format option with FBInst which has X combinations beside the preselected one, or by using RMPrepUSB or BootIce with their own options, or NO format at all- only grub4dos MBR installed. Or even no grub4dos MBR installed, user does that by himself.

Apparently you tried 1 or 2 ways of formatting.

Did you try the rest N-1 ways before jumping into conclusions?

There is NO such format option which works on every single PC, it simply doesn’t exist. What’s preselected is reported to work on many.
If it doesn’t work for you, than you have all the freedom and tools to experiment which one works for you, and you have all that bundled in the program. All you need is a bit of knowledge and potentially the right attitude if asking for assistance…

  5. This doesn’t seem to be a valid source!
Either or all of \sourcesboot.wim, \bootmgr\boot\, boot\BCD are missing, or source is not supported ??

Get this in every untouched ISO I have pointed it at. 7ENT 7PRO 10ENT

  6. It’s ok it I checked the logs and it doesnt like running from a NAS.
Ran it from my C: as administrator and works ok…

  7. hello iam islam i have a problem , when i use winsetupfromusb it does not boot . but when i use rufus it boots normally . my pc is hp compaq 6000 pro thanks

    • Have you tried formatting it with RMPrepUSB? Have you tried with BootIce?
Program provides numerous ways of formatting USB drive, the auto-format option is only one of the many.

What does “does not boot” mean? Does it boot from USB at all? Are there any messages on the screen?

Do you boot in BIOS or UEFI mode? If UEFI, is drive formatted in FAT32?

  8. I can use only a whole hard disk?
I need to install a ISO in a only single partition (UEFI), and leave others to system instalation.
Theres a way to do it?

  9. Hi,
am using USB3 AND USB2.0 PENDRIVE, It is working fine in DDR3 motherboards superbly and few DDR2 motherboard. I have installed more than 10 times windows 10, win 8.1,8,7 x64 x86 bit etc,,, But

when I try intel 945 chipset, Gigabyte 945 chipset., AMD DDR2 motherboards
i am receiving a error as usb time out and after 20 seconds motherboard is turned off automatically.
    Kindly fix this issue.

    • Kindly inject whichever USB/chipset driver is required in your source, or check if there is any related USB setting in BIOS/UEFI. This has nothing to do with the program. It’s windows which can’t see the USB drive at this stage…
